A gorilla permit in Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda is a must pass for everyone intending to do gorilla safari. This should be booked through your tour operator or for the independent travelers book direct to the concerned office in each country and this should be done in advance (3 month) before your travel date as they are sold based on first come, first serve.
It is in Uganda and Democratic Republic of Congo you can find affordable gorilla permit and here is the prices $ 700 USD per person in Uganda and $ 400 USD per person in DR Congo.
Also in Democratic Republic of Congo you find discounted gorilla permit of $ 200 USD per person and this is issued during the Mid Match – Mid May and from Mid – October to Mid – December every year.
For the East African Foreign Residents in and those traveling to Uganda costs $ 500 USD per person. Then Rwanda increased gorilla permit from $ 750 – $ 1500 USD per person and this is regardless of nationality.
There are however, some new packages that have been introduced to attract tourists and to promote Eco tourism in Rwanda.
